Born in Kuwait and based between Berlin & NYC, fashion stylist Mody Al Khufash, developed a fascination for western fashion, pop culture and music at a very young age. The clash between his upbringing and his western fantasies can be felt within his artistic work, finely fusing together often very strong contrasts, displaying powerful and passionate characters and highly sensitive blends of color combinations. The project interrogate the diverse dimensions explored in Mody's work approach for a brand and portfolio output able to display and narrate his style and work. (Printed version coming soon...)

How to introduce one of the most influential designers of the 20th century--one whose clear visual language has not only defined product design for decades, but also our fundamental understanding of design's potential and function? We're guessing our "Less and More" book and this video podcast interview is a good start.

Exclusive video interview with Marilyn Neuhart, author of "The Story of Eames Furniture", and her husband John. Both have worked with the Eames Office in various capacities from the 1950s. Having been in close proximity to Charles and Ray Eames as well as the members of the Eames Office and their patron manufacturers for almost 30 years, the Neuharts had the extraordinary opportunity to absorb their stories. At their Los Angeles home, they tell the tale of working with Charles Eames in Gestalten.tv's latest look behind the Eames.

Type composition done for catalog cover. Moto Waganari’s sculptures emerge from virtual space at the intersection of art, architecture and science. Within the interplay of their inherent lighting conditions—both natural and artificial—they once again generate new images as material manifestations and polymer images of their original digital archetypes. Moto Waganari is the artistic alias of architect Lutz Wagner.

Rocco Iannone is a young Italian fashion designer which—despite the growing superficiality of the fashion industry—presents himself with a highly genuine approach. In his research and experimental handcraft-based method, together with a constant interaction between opponents, Rocco Iannone brings back the genuine soul to the haute-couture brand culture.

In Synesthesia of Love, objective memory turns into subjective interpretation.Remembering the past differently from what it has been it’s a chance to accept it. Memory as healing tool to change our lived experiences into a-never-been-so-true-distortion. Mixed feelings and mementos become a samples library acting within the poster-pages: a sample-based play, into Memory, Compromise and Love. (Exhibited at UdK Berlin, 2006)
